Click here to download the latest VLC (VideoLan) Player!
VLC is an open source video player that is also cross platform. It also opens a wide variety video files.

1. OPEN VLC

VLC ICON

2. Under File (or "Media"), choose "Open Network..." (or "Open Network Stream.")

3. Enter the URL just like you see below, (or cut and paste mine: http://wyou.5ninesdata.com:8080) and click "Open."

5. Then, when you want to watch again, you can just open the file you created in VLC.

COOL THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH VLC

Double-click on the player window to go fullscreen. Or drag the lower left corner to shrink the image to the size of a postage stamp.

One can enable "Extended Controls"

After the "Enable" box is checked, one can slide the controls to change the Hue, Contrast or Brightness.

Check out "Opaqueness."... aw, that's so cool!

If your feeling really creative, check out the "Video Filter" set within the "Extended Controls."

Make the image blurry! Or click "Psychedelic" and "Ripple" to simulate the use of LSD!

If the WYOU producers are bugging you by not being careful with their audio volumes, activate "Normalize Audio" within the "Audio Filter" set in "Extended Controls."

You can also improve the audio of our programs by activating the "Equalizer" - also in the "Window" menu.

Boost the Bass on Curb Music, or dampen the sizzle on Cooking with Bob!

Or check out the presets from the drop down menu (Defaults to "Flat")

Click here to start a VLC (Video Lan Client) stream. This only works on certain browsers.
